Troglo Village Origine is located in an absolutely beautiful location in the green hilly landscape of Corrèze. Centrally located in France, Corrèze is the department that, together with Creuse and Haute-Vienne, forms the Limousin region.
The landscape around Troglo Village Origine is hilly and varied. It offers meandering streams and rivers, which wind their way through green valleys, bordered by extensive forests, fields, meadows, and picturesque villages. One of those villages, Perpezac le Blanc, in the southwest of Corrèze, is home to Troglo Village Origine. St. Robert hosts a classical music festival every summer and Pompadour has a horse racing track as well as a castle. In Lissac, the Lac du Causse offers water sports. Finally, Brive-la-Gaillarde is the nearest large city with a pleasant shopping center.
Corrèze is a fairly broad department. In the northeast are the foothills of the high-altitude region of the Massif Central. But in the southwest (where Troglo Village Origine is located) the hills are no higher than 400 meters.
So we find a pronounced continental climate there. This means a summer full of sun and beautiful spring and autumn weather. You can sit outside from February to November. Winters are generally mild.
Because the skies are more than average clear and there is hardly any light pollution in the region, you can often enjoy beautifully clear starry skies!
Troglo Village Origine is located about 1000 km from Utrecht (NL). It is easily accessible by car, largely via toll-free highways. The car journey takes about 8 hours. It is also easily accessible by train and plane.
Perhaps even faster than by car you can reach Troglo Village Origine by train. With the TGV you are in Paris in no time. The travel time between Rotterdam and Paris is only 2.5 hours. There you step into the “Capitole” to Brive, which departs every two hours and takes about 4.5 hours.
The total travel time is less than 7 hours.
From spring to autumn and around Christmas there are almost daily flights from Rotterdam to Bergerac with Transavia. The flight takes about 1h20 min, and the ride from Troglo Village Origine to the airport takes about the same.
There are flights to London and Paris from the new airport Brive-Souillac and the nearby airport of Limoges.
